“The Best Guide Ever”

I chose the 4 hour tour over the free walking tour because it is more comprehensive. I had taken the same tour a year ago and I thought it was well worth the money then but this time it exceeded my already high expectations. Our guide Yariv Yaffe was probably the best guide I have had anywhere. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we got our moneys worth and more. He took extra time to explain things and took us to places I did not see the previous time. The four hour tour lasted closer to six. While it did include a stop for lunch, he did not waste our time taking us to shops which we could do on our own time.

We had a fantastic tour today with Yariv, his knowledge was excellent and he made the tour interesting and entertaining. We learned a lot about Jerusalem, and appreciate the history a lot more.

“Best Tour of the "Old City" of Jerusalem”

My wife and I took this free tour as the very first tour that we took in Israel (specifically in Jerusalem), and we were very happy with all that we saw and were informed of on this tour. Our tour guide was Yariv Yaffe, and I highly recommend him as a tour guide as he is not only a very knowledgeable and informative tour guide, but also has a wonderful sense of humor and engaging personality as well. He took us through all four quarters of the old city, and regaled us with all kinds of history and highlights about Jerusalem and Israel in general, too. Personally I enjoyed his wry sense of humor and detailed knowledge about various aspects of the history of old Jerusalem as it related to life in the city back in ancient times all the way up until the present modern day. Yariv is a licensed tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism in Israel and was by far one of the best tour guides we had the pleasure of knowing during our time there. We want to return to Israel and visit Jerusalem again, and it is my hope that we can have Yariv as a tour guide when we are there, as we would enjoy taking the tour with him again!
